JON HOLMES ON RADIO 1

Having stopped producing regular comedy shows in the late 1990s, Radio 1 dipped a toe back into the water with The Milk Run, a sketch show mixed with music in their late night oneclick:comedy strand in 2005. When this came to an end Jon was given the opportunity to host a "one-off late night special".

Produced by the BBC Radio Entertainment department it featured such illustrious items as a game of 'Slut Bingo ', the 'Complaint Letter Hat' (in which complaints about the show were set to music), a late night Newsbeat especially for tramps and Jon phoning those sorts of numbers that you see  written in biro on the back of toilet cubicle doors in public lavatories, just to see who answered.

There were also Jon and Andy performed pieces, notably when Andy finds a new born baby on the steps of Radio 1 and they have to hide it in case Chris Moyles eats it.
